UMBC participates in the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) CIRP Freshmen Survey to measure our incoming college students’ background characteristics, high school experiences, attitudes, behaviors, and expectations for college. The survey is administered to incoming freshmen after they have attended orientation and registered for classes. Survey reports available here are provided by HERI.
